Welcome to my second tea time Tuesday.  I’ll be joining Sandi over at Rose Chintz Cottage as Tuesday is a great time for tea.

I’m excited trying to make a blog, take pictures and kids are coming to the door.  This is the first year in the last 8 years we have been on the Island for Halloween.

Halloween orange

We have been in Salem for Halloween but most of the time at this time of year we are on a road trip, “oh wait…be right back more kids at the door.” It is easier to be away then to answer the door, when you don’t partake in the holiday fun of some.

I’m getting asked the same question at the door, “Mam, is this the K-rock Haunted House?” Disappointed I say no one more time. I’m also disappointed that I chipped my tea cup setting up this picture, oh well don’t fret!

Halloween treats

We went and looked up what the K-rock Haunted House is and between the hours of 6 and 8pm if the kids find the winning house they get all sorts of different treats; pizza party, sneakers, camera, video game and a night at the movies. How cool is that.  I wonder if the house has been reported to be in Winsloe?

orange tea

Oh, interruptions they keep you from getting to what you were originally doing, so back to what I was about to blog about.  It was orange spice tea, a flavour I have in Grandma’s Tea Room and sitting steeping as we talk about life and wee little tea things. I had fun opening my door and seeing the faces of many.

“Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him.” Romans 14:3

Thank you for joining my Halloween tea, cindy

October 27th – Wednesday and Day 9.  I could so become a Hampton Beach Girl.  We started the day in the Hapton Beach area then moved back onto Rye Beach and although we were skunked we took some great pictures.

I had to stop by The Plum for another Coffee flavoured Ice Cream.

Then our travels ventured Highway 1 ti Ipswich onto Rockport Park – scooched by Boston and after two tunnels arrived at 8pm.

A short stop along the venture returned some awesome Halloween shots, hope you enjoy.

Rockport is definitely an inspiring quaint village filled with small shops the are eye candy. No movie tonight we are tired.

So Day 9 comes to a close. With every day ending it brings us that much closer to seeing Jennifer and the girls, oh and you too Jay.
