| Chocolate-chip Cupcake Cones | ||

3/4 c sugar 1/4 c soft butter 1 egg 2/3 c hot water 1/2 tsp vanilla 18-20 flat bottom ice-cream cones 1 c flour 1/4 c cocoa 3/4 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 c chocolate chips |
Cream sugar and butter together with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and hot water. Stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Blend until smooth. Stir in vanilla and chocolate chips. Spoon 2 heaping tbs of batter into each cone. Arrange 6 cones in a circle in microwave on high for 1 1/2 to 3 min. These may be cooked in an oven. Cool then frost. Have bowls of smarties, raisins, licorice, marshmallows, peanuts or chocolate chips for the kids to decorate their own cones at a party.
