I feel like Bob the Builder only my tools are smaller and I don’t get to play as often nor do I make the kind of do-re-mi as our friend Bob.
Each year when tourism season is over I recycle the old maps that don’t go back into circulation for the next year. I make altered books, embellishments and these days I have been making buttons. Tedious punching, gluing, and lacing :-0 I love it. Today I had to help the French Gardener in the yard so I didn’t get to finish my buttons so I get to play tonight.
Here is what we found when we arrived home from our road trip.
This is a picture of four lush kiwi trees that are in our backyard that produce mega fruit each year.
However during a storm something went wrong.
This is a massive mess and was a result from a wind storm we had here. The clean up took all day, and we still have a little more to do. The barn beside is 44′ long and the plant is the height but not as long but close and now gone.

cindy

Love, love, love those buttons. What a great idea!
Too bad about your kiwi. Is there any chance it will come back in the spring? You’ve had some nasty storms this fall.
I love those little buttons!
How SAD about that Kiwi Tree! Sooooo many lost kiwi… *sob*
This is the perfect blog for anyone who wants to know about this topic. You know so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I really would want…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a subject thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just great!
