Radio reports it to be the hottest day in January

So we headed to Typhoon Lagoon, when they opened at 10am it was hot

Welcome to my water tour at Typhoon Lagoon

Follow the paths

First stop the Lazy River

lazy

relaxing

Grandpa gets in

We head down the river

I’ll get a raft

Ok, one more

here we go

Current takes you along you just have to float and have fun

Kids spray you from the used props

to the next water way

something on every path

Making our way to the wave pool

Stop at a shop of pearls

here they look like this, ‘pearl in every one,’ she says

This is Shark Reef, you swim with sharks and 20 different types of fish loads of them all under you and around you

Snorkels on everyone, no kicking your feet

This cave takes you under the shark reef where you can watch everyone swim with the fish

Looking out the port holes you can see me swim with a sting ray

There I am on top of the water, taken from the port hole

Time to head onto another path for adventure

Pass a few more shops

We will stop at a body slide next, you drop down pretty fast and get a wedgie

this one is a blast

Onto another stop, we should have taken the lazy river and got off at the next adventure

The wave pool

Wait for it! Wait for it…. every 2 minutes sounds the alarm

Here comes the wave

It just got higher

Run!

The screaming starts

Everyone gets hit

The aftermath

everyone stands to wipe the water from their eyes

An overflow pool for babies to play

critters

Too close

Heading to another part of the park with more water slides

misty paths cool you off as you walk

Trees and flowers are in bloom in January, seems strange

The weather here is unusual for this time of year

 Now that’s bamboo

One last look back as we closed the place

Then it was over, the fun had to stop we are exhausted

This has been our Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Tour.

Glad you joined in the fun, tomorrow Grandma and Grandpa will visit Gatorland and go on a Swamp Walk,

Have a good weekend, Cindy
