Yesterday was dedicated to being a beachcombing day especially since we have waited so many days to get there and had one interruption or another, but hey that’s life right?

I was brave and took my new camera to the beach, I know ah? took some great shots, amazing photos of the light and shadows on rocks, and ya I took a lot of pictures of the sea glass I found in it’s original, yup I did.  I can’t share those picture with you, no, never, they are memories left there, left behind, sad but true.  Oh, my camera is fine, I’m not sure I will be. I felt like I’d gone to the movies and not brought enough money for popcorn and could smell it all around me, disappointed again.  I left the memory card in the computer at home again, memories that’s all they are.

You remember Tamara I told you about, she is from The Netherlands and staying with us at the bed and breakfast?  Well we took her beachcombing, sort of wanted to share some of what we do with her, you know. I’m not sure I was up to sharing my age and forgetfulness but she got some of that as well.  Anyway she tells me I might be able to retrieve those pictures from my camera so I’m waiting till she wakes up and then we will see. Today she leaves to go home and she has already mentioned to me that it might be a sad day for her, but I have something planned, a surprise I think she might like it.

I can’t send you away without a picture of PEI, so I found this from another beach-combing day, I hope you like it?

What would beachcombing be without a little seaglass, nothing more than a movie without popcorn, right?

So here are the rocks and seaglass I was talking about, found a picture from my collection to share.

Aren’t our red rocks beautiful? From a seaglunker like me, this was a pretty good find.

Well I hope you enjoyed our memory of seaglassing on PEI. As for the memory card, well I guess I have only myself to blame as I too have become too reliant on technology and less concentrated on what the importance is in a lesson well learned. I might have missed out on some beautiful shots but I got to spend the day with two people I love, that is the true memory.

If you live by the sea, make sure to beachcomb ~ Cindy
