~ A Child’s Christmas Card

This is a simple card where little hands can make and big hands can enjoy.  Being a grandma I’m on the look-out for a craft a day when the children come to play and with the help of  The Speckled Freckle Place I was able to bring this easy craft to share with you.

~ Angels

Heavenly angels, often referred to as guardian angels, are mentioned numerous times in the Scriptures. Therein we learn that angels are spiritual beings created by God to serve him, and sent by God to watch over the human race, to deliver his message, to guard and protect us from danger, to do battle with other spiritual beings on our behalf.

Since the beginning of time, angels have delivered God’s messages to mankind. Sometimes the messages are warnings of impending danger, sometimes instructions as to what to do in a particular situation, sometimes they are simply “there” as protection from enemy forces. Sometimes they bring joyful announcements as in the day they announced the birth of Jesus.

~ Alberton, Prince Edward Island

Alberton is the principal town among the fishing and farming communities situated along the western shore of Prince Edward Island. The first European to visit the area was Jacques Cartier who made land fall in 1534 and noted the great potential for fishing, farming and lumbering.

I enjoyed that you stopped by and hope you’ll stop by again tomorrow with my B of Christmas.  Have the very best and enjoy your day!  Till tomorrow….

I’ll be thinking about a B ~ Cindy

Welcome to my #6th tea time Tuesday.  I’ll be joining Sandi over at Rose Chintz Cottage as Tuesday is a great time for tea.

It is late in the morning and I didn’t have a beautiful Christmas tea cup and saucer to show for this week. I wasn’t about to post due to not having a lovely cup as well dishonour of a friend.  Not to mention being a busy grandma,  as I do have two grandchildren that have been running back and forth between playdoh bunnies and making little bitty meals and watching Dora and getting Ana to spit out crayons…I’m overwhelmed and let the blissfulness in life get me down and now here is what I have for a late minute post.

I don’t see many lights about the Island yet, however there is a lot of time yet.  Our lights are not up, they wait for me each year to ask to be put up.

Christmas is all about the twinkle and glory

Finding a yummy peanut butter recipe and having a couple of little hands to help makes a big difference.

peanut butter cookies

Kraft has a Super Easy Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe just for you.

Prep time: 10 min        Bake: 15 min

Preheat oven to 325 F.  Mix 1 cup of Kraft creamy peanut butter, 1.2 cup of white sugar and 1 egg with a wooden spoon until blended.  Roll out 24 balls, press with a fork.  Bake 15 minutes, remove from oven and put a rose bud or M&M in the middle and cool enough to eat, enjoy.  I bought Merkens chocolates from our Bulk Barn in Charlottetown and I make them green and red at this time of year.
