Oh here we are at day 8 Tuesday Oct, 26 already.

An adventurous day we spent meeting new people, stopping at great beaches, seeing some lovely countryside.

The ground we covered was from Portsmouth to the Hampton’s, oh the Hampton houses are something to see, remember I’m the house hunter in the family.  Come have a look.

We eat like Kings with Master Braxton at the head of the Knight's Table

view over breakfast in the morning, cooking in the park

This is a morning view looking at the light-keepers house on an Island

My Picasso Guy

Home's along the Portsmouth area

They have high decks for looking over the break waters

Remind me of a Cinderella castle I had as a little girl, different scale

Just with a touch of class

Sea glass picked on beaches in Portsmouth small but lots of quality 30/ph

8 different colours and only 8 at one beach

We stopped for ice cream at the North end of Hampton's Beaches "The Plum" oh this is Master Braxton's doggy flavoured ice cream no kidding.

So this bring us to the Hampton Beaches, we will spend the night and return in the early morning for the low tide and see what we find.

I hope you enjoyed our day 8.  Day 9 we have surprises on Hampton Beach and Rye Beach.

On Day 6 it is still cold, we have had to put the heat on high and keep our long john’s on yet.  Braxton needs his coat on to jump out of the car for a widdle.

Managed to explore 7 beaches and turns out they are all in the Boothbay Harbour area.  We crossed a one at a time car bridge that was interesting waiting our turn to cross.  Then stopped off at Freeport Maine for a little beading shopping.  After that we headed for lunch it turned out to be a beautiful day, we did however get skunked these two days.

A beautiful shell

This is.....???

We stopped for Braxton to stretch his one leg and I found a field of these.  I can’t for the life of me remember what they are.  We started naming them.

Cotton tails,

Seed pods,

fluffy seeds,

dandi cotton seeds,

Doesn’t matter the name isn’t coming to mind and it might at 2:30 in the morning but the point to this was I found many of them and like I kid I pulled them apart and the air was full of them, stuck to the windshield, the dog and all over my sweater, it was a blast.

Day 7 was Oct 25, we stopped in a few spots one being Old Orchard Beach, we crossed to Nubble Island and shaw beautiful houses built on rock Islands.  Reminded me of the Thousand Islands.

I am taking loads of photos and I’m starting to upload them all to SnapFish they don’t need to each be down sized, I’ll save a couple to view here.  Oh we also found an out of the way coffee shop in a rolled up tourist area and they had the best coffee ever, visited many beaches these two days and like I said we saw plenty of sights but no sea glass.

Day 8 was Fantastic though-coming soon.

Thanks for stopping by and if you are able to help with our cotton seed pod please let me know.

cindy
